Texas Hold’em

Most people know Texas Hold’em simply because it is the most popular online poker game out there. Players are dealt 2 cards and there are 5 cards placed on the table.

Omaha

There are several variations of Omaha poker. Omaha High, Omaha High/Low, 4-card Omaha, 5-card Omaha, and Omaha Low. The latter is not common at all, but the others are plated often both online and offline. Players are dealt 4 cards and there are 5 cards dealt on the table.

7-Card Stud

This is in fact where poker really took off in the USA. Players are dealt 3 cards to begin with, then a further 4 cards are dealt.
